KERRY KENNEDY
Kerry hails from Dalby, in country Queensland, and his rich and polished presentation of his original and popular country music has been sellling out shows since 1989.
The key to his popularity and success has been relentless hard work, performing in every available venue big or small, from the tip of Cape York to the beautiful New Norfolk in Tasmania to the south, as well as countless trips out to the outback of Queensland .
A regular at the world famous Tamworth country music festival, Kerry has also performed at the Gympie Muster, Mud Bulls and Music, and was one of the organisers of the Thredbo fling (Which later become CMC rocks the snowies)
in 1996 he released his first album "Australia's Most Wanted " which earned him a places as a finalist in the 1997 Tamworth Star Makers Quest
Then in 2000 he released his second album "Glass Of Wine" of which the title song reached the number one spot on Switzerland radio with John Brack.
Tours of New Zealand (10 times), Vanuatu, (3 times)New Caledonia (21 times) and Europe (3 times) followed, as Kerry and his music set a platform for his international audiences.
He has shared the stage with some Australia's greats including John Farnham, Dave Gleeson, Lee Kernagahan, Chad Morgan, Graham Conners, Luke Oshea to name a few.
He was awarded the I.C.M.A.A most popular male artist in 2021 and was selected as the ambassador for the "Lights On The Hill" convoy in 2020 for his tireless work for the trucking industry.
Kerry is a world class entertainer, and a proud Australian, but he is an Australian we should all be proud of .
